betterSoil, the first startup from Ulm
We are the first startup from Ulm that has officially the support with esa, DLR and esa BIC BW. This support fuels the development of our betterSoil Farm Assistant—a digital tool powered by satellite data and AI to help farmers make smarter decisions around soil health practices. By merging technology with regenerative practices, we're helping farmers across Europe increase yields, reduce input costs, and improve soil health—all at once. This integrated approach fosters more intelligent soil management and sparks a vital mindset shift: one that recognizes soil health as a core driver of both climate resilience and agricultural profitability. We encourage other startups to embrace similar opportunities. Partnering with visionary organizations opens the door to transformative support, strategic exposure, and mission-aligned collaborations. Programs like this go beyond funding—they create ecosystems of change-makers, innovators, and problem-solvers working toward shared goals. With the right support, we can grow a future where thriving soils power thriving farms, communities, and food systems—from local plots to the global stage.
